Special Fish Purchase Request:

A customer may request that Sanctuary Aquatics acquire a specific type of fish. Upon such request, the customer must pay a deposit of 50% of the purchase price of the fish. Sanctuary Aquatics will inform the customer of the expected delivery date (acknowledging that shipment and delivery days may be effected by issues with the wholesaler or the shipper). Upon delivery to Sanctuary Aquatics, the customer will be informed the fish has been received and request pick-up and the customer shall be responsible for the full purchase price of the fish upon such notice. If pick-up is made that day, the fish will be provided in its original delivery bag and shall be alive and will not be placed in the Sanctuary Aquatics quarantine system.

If pick-up is not made that day, the fish will be placed in the Sanctuary Aquatics quarantine system until pick-up is made, which must occur within 14 days of notice of delivery to Sanctuary Aquatics unless special arrangements have been made with Sanctuary Aquatics. Once placed in the Sanctuary Aquatics quarantine system, there is no further guarantee on the fish and if the fish dies while in the quarantine system, the customer shall, nevertheless, be responsible for the full purchase price for the fish. If a deposit is made and, for whatever reason, Sanctuary Aquatics is unable to obtain the fish within a two week period of the stated anticipated delivery date, the deposit will be reimbursed in full to the customer.
